Thank you for choosing to book Online Training with ACI Training and Consultancy LTD. Please read these terms and conditions carefully so you understand the terms and conditions you are signing up to. If you have any questions please contact us before booking and we will be happy to answer any queries you have. 

These terms and conditions apply to online training services delivered by ACI Training and Consultancy Ltd (herein  after called ACI) via our online training platform and should be read in conjunction with all correspondence confirming instructions. For the avoidance of doubt “client” means the organisation or company purchasing services from any of the ACI divisions, an “individual” refers to a person purchasing a service for themselves only and “candidate” refers to a person completing the training regardless of who booked it. “Training Portal” refers to any based platform that ACI publish their courses on. “Online Training and Services” refers to training provided via ACI’s online training portal.  

Purchasing Services

In order to purchase any of the services on-line individuals must register for an account with us via the training portal. Clients can set up an account for their candidates via their account manager at ACI.

If have previously set up an account with us, you can log into your account using your user name and password. Please note that if you had an account predating March 2025, you will need to create a new account as we have migrated services to a new platform and your old account will not work with our new online portal. 

We only need your first and surname and email address to set up an account. Passwords provided by individuals should be secure and hard to guess. Please ensure that the name on your account matches your ID as this will be shown on your certificate and names cannot be changed on certificates. 

Services

A description of the services are available on our training portal.  We will provide the services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the description set out on the Website. If you are unsure about the suitability of a service or its features please contact us via telephone or email in advance of purchase and we will be happy to assist. We expect you to decide that the services you are purchasing will meet your needs.  

We reserve the right to vary or withdraw any of the services described on our training portal without notice.

We do not make any guarantee to you that you will obtain a particular result, or employment opportunity from your purchase and completion of any of our services.

Most of our services are aligned to CSTF, but please see each individual service for full details. 

All services are available in English only. 

Fees

Individuals who are purchasing direct via our training portal will see the total cost inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. Fees for the service selected by you on the training portal shall be debited from your credit / debit card at the time of purchase via our payment provider. You may wish to read their terms and conditions and privacy notice. Fees must be paid in full prior to you accessing any service.

We may sell bundled training products at a different rate to individual courses. Please check these as they may provide better value than purchasing courses individually. 

Clients will be charged at the rate on the website unless they have a contracted rate agreed with ACI. All fees quoted in ACI Training and Consultancy Ltd literature are exclusive of VAT unless stated. VAT will be applied to all invoices at the standard rate. Please contact your account manager for further information. 

In the event that client invoices are not settled in full in accordance with the agreed terms, ACI reserves the statutory right to charge interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Where we put a client on STOP for non-payment, any bookings already made will be honoured, but post booking paperwork including certificates will not be released until the account is taken off STOP. No new bookings will be accepted during the STOP period. 

Please note that all of our services including bundled services must be completed including any test or exam, within 90 days of purchasing the service / enrolment in the service. If you have not completed the service then your access will expire and you will need to repurchase the service. 

Liability

ACI aims to provide the services to the highest standards however we are unable to accept any liability for (a) misleading or inaccurate information provided as part of the service and any reliance by candidate on any such information, (b) any direct or indirect loss arising from any breach of the terms of this agreement.

No warranties or refunds apply to the services once they have been purchased or invoiced. 

ACI reserve the right to amend or update services or pricing as appropriate. No refund or liability is accepted if you find a service on our online portal at a lower price at a different time. 

ACI accepts no responsibility for any liabilities from fraudulent use of our training portal or any certificates issued. Certificates are checkable online using our verification system and anyone accepting certificates as proof of a service being completed and passed is responsible for verifying the certificates. 

Occasionally our systems maybe temporarily unavailable due to updates, server outages or other reasons. ACI cannot be made liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from our online portal being unavailable.

ACI retains the right to cancel any account on our portal due to fraudulent or suspected fraudulent use.  

ACI accepts no claims more than 90 days after the service concerned commenced.

In any matter of dispute, you agree that ACI is the final arbiter.

Intellectual Property

Resources and materials provided through our training portal are the property of ACI who retain all local and international rights which are owned and reserved.

By purchasing a service you agree not to breach our intellectual property rights, in any way, including all courses and resources available through our online portal.

When you purchase a service, you are acknowledging that you accept that the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the materials our owned by and remain ours and you will not use, download, copy or distribute or use them in any way other than for person study within our training portal. You are unable to acquire any title copyright or other proprietary rights in such materials.

Codes and Discounts

From time to time ACI may issue a discount code which is usable solely by individuals who pay at the time of booking. These codes are not valid in conjunction with client invoicing. Discount codes will usually be time limited and may be only valid on certain services. 

ACI may vary or withdraw the discount code at any time solely at its own discretion.  Bookings made with a discount code outside of the terms and conditions may be cancelled. 

Codes and discounts cannot be used once a service has been booked and no liability is accepted if you forget to include the code or a code is not accepted. 

Extra Conditions for Candidates Booked by a Client

Some services are made by a client on behalf of a candidate. Where these occur the contract remains with the client and the candidate attends on behalf of the client. By attending the booking the candidate is agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

In these circumstances any post service paperwork, including certificates, will only be sent to the client who made the bookings and ACI will not be able to send copies to a candidate. If you would like to request a copy, please speak to the client who booked the service as ACI are unable to release them. 

Should you require your own certificate, please purchase a service as an individual and you will be sent any applicable post service paperwork after the successful completion of the course and passing any relevant tests / exams. 

Force Majeure

ACI Training and Consultancy Ltd will not be responsible for any incident, occurrence, or failures attributable to any cause outside its control that affects the provision of any service. This includes period where an online portal is down due to circumstances outside of our control. 

Accepting Our Terms and Conditions

When you purchase a service or are enrolled in a service you are accepting our terms and conditions. 

Refunds

These terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have.
